Friends of the Foundation
The Foundation’s annual Friends of the Foundation sponsorship program is a key fundraiser each year. With community
support through Friends of the Foundation,
we are able to provide thousands of
dollars for classroom grants, enhanced technology, and student scholarships.
Classroom
Grants
Our PEAK Grants are competitive classroom grants that Promote Excellence And Knowledge. Teachers apply for these grants annually. PEAK Grants cover a large variety of curricular areas and touch the lives of many students of all ages. Grants ranging from $100 to approximately $5,000 are awarded by a surprise squad of Foundation board members called the PEAK Patrol.

Program
Each year, the Lee’s Summit Educational Foundation offers thousands of dollars in continuing education scholarships exclusively to LSR7 graduating seniors through generous contributions from local-area community members, businesses, and organizations.
In 2024, the Foundation had the pleasure of awarding $89,700 to 65 students.
