This sponsorship program is a key fundraiser each year. With community support, we are able to provide thousands of dollars for classroom grants, enhanced technology, and student scholarships.

Our grants Promote Excellence And Knowledge (PEAK). They are competitive classroom grants that teachers apply for annually. PEAK Grants cover a large variety of curricular areas and touch the lives of many students. Grants ranging from $100 to approximately $5,000 are awarded by a surprise squad of Foundation board members called the PEAK Patrol.

Each year, LSEF offers thousands of dollars in continuing education scholarships exclusively to LSR7 graduating seniors through generous contributions from local community members, businesses, and organizations.

In 2026, the Foundation had the honor of awarding 76 scholarships totaling $98,850!
